  • RIGHT 1 The right to be treated with dignity and respect

  • RIGHT 2 The right to receive information that I can understand about my rights and responsibilities

  • RIGHT 3 The right to know how my HMO works and what services it offers

  • RIGHT 4 The right to be treated no differently than commercial enrollees

  • RIGHT 6 The right to a provider who is sensitive to my culture and with whom I can communicate

  • RIGHT 7 The right to a primary care provider who is not too far from where I live

  • RIGHT 8 The right to change my HMO at certain times of the year or at any time if my needs cannot be met

  • RIGHT 9 The right to receive care without delay

  • RIGHT 10 The right to complain or file a grievance if I have a problem with my HMO and a right to a prompt decision on my complaint or grievance

  • RIGHT 11 The right to confidentiality of my medical record
