If you are low-income and have no health insurance you may
qualify for a government program called Medicaid. This program
is run by the State of Wisconsin with federal and state funding.
If eligible, you will get a medical card which you can take to a
doctor or hospital to get medical care. Medicaid is also called
MA, T-19 or Medical Assistance.
Presentation of these Medicaid handbooks is made possible by
a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family
Services, Division of Healthcare Financing.
