Information in your credit report can affect your ability to get a job, a mortgage, a loan, a credit card, or insurance. To make sure the information in your report is accurate, contact each company listed below. Request a copy of your credit report in order to check it for mistakes. You are entitled to one free credit report per year from each company. If you request another credit report in the same year, you can be charged for the report, which usually costs around $10.
