Some common questions about HMOs: 

What services does an HMO offer? 
HMOs have to provide you with all the services covered by Wisconsin’s Medicaid program. However, some HMOs may offer special services that Medicaid does not cover. (For example: in-home therapy, residential treatment for alcohol and drug treatment, special transportation services, etc.) 

What kinds of services are preventive? 
Many services that are provided by your HMO are preventive. Preventive care keeps you from getting sick.
