INCOME AND ASSET LIMITS
In order to get Medicaid your family's income and assets (savings or
other resources you own) must be below certain levels. Remember that
the BadgerCare, Healthy Start and OBRA Kids programs have no asset
limits.

The federal poverty levels increase in April every year, so the Healthy Start,
OBRA Kids and BadgerCare limits will change every year.
Who is eligible for Medicaid?
To become eligible for Medicaid, you must be one
of the following:
child under age 19
an individual age 65 or over
a child or adult who is permanently disabled or blind
a pregnant woman
a caretaker relative of a minor child
(including a parent)
You must also be a resident of Wisconsin and a citizen or a qualified
